Biography
Portrait sculpture is endlessly challenging, and when doing a sculptural portrait, I strive to remain true to the lines and volumes of the face and head, and to the life, soul and spirit of the subject. A portrait sculpture should appear alive, animated by the personality of the subject, especially as this is revealed in the eyes. It should not only allow viewers to feel as though they have met the subject, but to feel that they have gotten to know another human being.
