Marc Mellon

 

Biography

Marc Mellon has been creating works in bronze for over 35 years. Passionately interested in a range of subjects, his works include numerous portrait bust, relief, medal, and commemorative statue commissions. His limited edition bronzes, often on the themes of dance, sport, and family life, including his Modern Muse series, have been exhibited and collected both here and abroad.

Marc is an active member of the National Arts Club, the Salmagundi Club, and the Century Association (elected 2007), all in Manhattan. He is President ex-officio of the Artists’ Fellowship Inc., a charitable foundation assisting professional fine artists in times of emergency.

He is an elected Fellow of the National Sculpture Society.

 

Marc has works in bronze on over 25 university and medical campuses across the United States. He accepts commissions for portrait busts, portrait reliefs, medallions, and fountains.
